MINE

How MINE works

From a pasted link to a verdict, in five steps.

  1. Read the link. MINE checks that the link is a real product page and works out what the product is.
  2. Find offers. It asks licensed data sources for current prices at different retailers.
  3. Verify. Each offer must name its source and the time it was observed. Offers without both are discarded.
  4. Decide. Fixed rules compare the price with the verified offers and price history and pick one of four verdicts.
  5. Explain. The reasons are shown in plain words. An AI model may phrase the explanation but cannot add facts or change the verdict.

What an answer contains

This is the structure of every answer. It is a template, not a real product or real prices.

Verdict: BUY, WAIT, SKIP or INSUFFICIENT DATA

Why: the reasons, in plain words.

Evidence: each offer, with its retailer, price in USD and the time it was observed.

Checked at: the time the answer was produced.

When MINE does not know

If it cannot verify enough offers for a product, it says INSUFFICIENT DATA and explains what was missing. It never fills the gap with a guess.
